Suzuki in the Schools: July 20– July 25, 2008
A heterogeneous string class taught using the concepts of the Suzuki Method has the interest of many string teachers. This Suzuki in the Schools course is specially designed for school music teachers who would like to learn how to apply the Suzuki philosophical and pedagogical ideas.The course is taught by SAA registered Suzuki in the Schools trainer William Dick.
Participants wishing to register the course with the SAA must have completed ECC and Book I in their individual instrument.SPECIAL BONUS CLASS FOR TEACHER TRAINEES! JAZZ IMPROV WITH MARTIN NORGAARD!
You may register as a participant (see SAA registration requirements) or as an auditor for the same fee. Only participants may register courses with the SAA. All class sessions must be attended and observation requirements must be met. Teachers who are not enrolled as participants or auditors may observe student classes only, by paying a $80.00 per day fee.
